Level 2D: LGBTQ+ Inclusive Meetings & Events Certificate

$199.00

Overview

Every event sends a message about who belongs in the room.

The LGBTQ+ Inclusive Meetings & Events Certificate gives planners, producers, and venue professionals the skills to create welcoming, affirming experiences for all attendees.

Building on Level 1: LGBTQ+ Inclusion Awareness Certificate, this advanced program helps professionals design events that are inclusive from registration to signage, from bathrooms to breakout sessions. You’ll learn how to align your teams, vendors, and venues with practices that make inclusion visible — and valued.

You’ll Learn How To

  • Design meeting and event experiences that include all gender identities and sexual orientations

  • Communicate clearly with venues, vendors, and clients about inclusion standards

  • Review registration forms, name badges, and seating charts for inclusive details

  • Handle pronouns, gender-neutral restrooms, and dress-code questions with professionalism

  • Respond to pushback or bias in real time during events

  • Use language, imagery, and branding that signal welcome to LGBTQ+ participants

Take it from one of our graduates, Greg from the Hotel Monaco:

“Just wanted to let you know that I REALLY not only enjoyed this course, but the way it was presented. Learned a ton of information. And I really liked the underlying tone – just be yourself, ask questions if you don’t know, and genuinely care about your people – gay, straight or whatever. Very well done! And very well received.”
