Happy New Year! (I'll still be saying that til the middle of the month.) I hope your holiday season was joyful.

Here are our latest finds in the world of LGBTQ weddings and honeymoons:

  • David's Bridal now has an ad featuring a lesbian couple. Nearly 15 years (better late than never, I suppose) after the U.S.'s first same-sex weddings, the largest bridal retailer is showcasing the diversity of their clients.

  • All couples can now legally marry in Austria, which has become the 26th country in the world to allow same-sex marriages. 

  • If you're looking for some sweetness, here's a lovely collection of LGBTQ proposal stories to warm your heart.

  • Even more sweetness: you may have heard about the woman with a gay son who has volunteered to be a stand-in mom at weddings for gay couples without the support of their moms. Now, Jamie Lee Curtis will be turning her story into a movie and playing the lead. Can't wait!
